Sherril has always had a passion to help both people and animals. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Sociology and Economics degree and spent the first part of her career supporting the needs of residents in Durham Region. Her unending love for animals led her to change her career to pursue her dream of become an animal care professional. Sherril graduated from the Durham College Animal Care program in 2025, with Honours and Highest-Ranking Graduate Award and started working at Ritson Veterinary Clinic in September, 2025. She absolutely loves her time with dogs and cats and their families. She strives to ensure that each pet feels loved and cared for during their time at the clinic.
When not working at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, her sweet dog, Roxy, participating in outdoor physical activities like running, and is also a wildlife care nursery volunteer.
